2020 Apex E-Bike

QuietKat’s most popular electric fat bike has been overhauled for 2020 with the all-new integrated battery and motor system! The new 2020 Apex features updated frame geometry paired with focused weight distribution to optimize ride quality and handling.

New for 2020, the Apex features a 12mm thru-axle on the rear and sealed bearings in both front and rear hubs for smooth operation in all weather conditions.

The Apex features QuietKat’s top build kit, including adjustable air suspension, 4-Piston Hydraulic Brakes, and a 9-speed drivetrain. Powered by a mid-drive motor paired with wide-range gearing provides maximum torque for climbing steep hills. The Apex is designed for the most rugged and advanced off-road terrain including steep mountain ascents and descents on singletrack trails.

Available in 1500W, 1000W, and 750W motor options.

The new Apex is back with a load of updates and upgrades for the model year 2020. Of course, the apex has our integrated down pull battery. We've got motor options, including 750 watt, 1000 watt, and the limited edition 1500 watt mountain climbing beast. It's available in 17-inch and 19-inch sizes. And you can get it in charcoal or our new VEIL EVADE Camo.

For 2020, we've upgraded the fork on the Apex to an inverted motorcycle-inspired fork, which is much stiffer and much more compliant, offering 150 millimeters of travel. It's gonna give you the best stability and comfort out on the trail. 

For 2020, we've upgraded the brakes on the Apex to Tektro’s new piston brake, which uses a 203-millimeter rotor and a thicker rotor to displace heat, easier for better braking performance. For 2020, we've partnered with SRAM, the Apex features SRAM's 9-speed drivetrain, giving you a full range to climb the steepest hills. For 2020, we've also upgraded the stock components, including the grips, the QuietKat handlebars, new color display, the QuietKat saddle, and updated pedals. 

For 2020, the Apex weighs 79 pounds before adding accessories and has a load limit of 325 pounds. The Apex is compatible with our two-wheeled trailer as well as our single-wheeled trailer to bring all your gear along for the ride. All of our other great accessories, such as our Pannier Racks, Pannier Bags, headlights, and entire inserts are all available for the new 2020 Apex.
